Finance Report:
Report as tabled AGM.MAB Report
: Solo selections will be announced by the end of Feb. Recommendations for adjudicators will also be made. Band test pieces will be chosen before the next quarterly meeting. Could the TBL delegates please discuss a budget for the state youth concert band?Resolved report received.
DAB Report
: President reported on parade of bands Hobart. Decision been made to combine four Concert Bands into one grade. Ivan and Jeff to do all inspections.Registrations:
Two bands now registered one Huon Valley (decided not to join this year) the other Latrobe. All registrations complete.General Business
State Solos 2010 Venue: Lton College anxious for us to try new area. We will follow up with Peter Quigley.
Nationals 2010: Participation exceeded expectations. Scheduling has been looked at again to accommodate large number of entries. Volunteer pro-forma to be sent out very soon. Gala concert will be highlight of the week-end four bands from Singapore will be doing guest performances. Discussions re outstanding solo music and the need to meet deadline noted.
State Band Championships 2010: One band decided not to compete. Venue to be decided.

State Youth Concert Band: Need proposal for May meeting from Treasurer and MAB.
NBCA: A very interesting meeting in Melbourne, agenda overtaken by events in Victoria. Bandsmen register with VBL and band list compiled for contest where a bandsman can only play in one grade once. Test piece and the need for it was discussed. To be a registered member of a Victorian band there is a need to be a resident of that State.
NBCA Delegate: Moved Jan Hills seconded Gary Weeding that the president be the delegate for this year. Recommendation for observer.
Webmaster: Peter Martin prepared to continue until after Easter. Bob Kuns to take on role after then. Resolved
Carolyn Cross: asked for assistance with Junior Music camp being held March 26th, 27th and 28th. $1000 grant requested. Moved by Jeff Brown and seconded by Ron Wilson. Officially notified the League that Latrobe not participating at Nationals.
